Again this year, Experimento steals the show.  He was awarded Stallion of the Year from the Illinois Horse Fair!  Also without us knowing we were awarded reserve in Stallion Presentation and reserve in the stall contest!

WHAT A WAY TO START THE SHOW SEASON!  4 OUT OF THE 5 HORSES WE BROUGHT WHERE SHOWING FOR THE 2ND TIME ONLY.  THE STAR OF THE SHOW WAS SISSY'S STALLION GLADIADOR!  HE WAS AWESOME!  ALSO DOING HER BEST WAS DIVA!  FIRST SHOW WITH SISSY AND TAKING 1ST PLACE.  EMI DOING VERY GOOD ALSO.  NELSON AND PAPARAZZI ALSO HAVING AN INCREDIBLE 2ND SHOW.  WINNING FINO STALLIONS CLASS AND CHAMPIONSHIP.  KRYSTAL AND AGUACERO PUTTING ON QUIET A SHOW AND PLACING 1ST IN PERFORMANCE COLTS.  ALL 5 OF OUR HORSES BRINGING HOME RIBBONS, ALL IN THE  TOP 3 PLACEMENTS!

Pasos in Memphis

As you see from our pictures we had a very full schedule and a lot of fun doing it.  We took 11 horses to the show and all did very well.  Our wall was full of Blue/Red ribbons!  We are so proud of our Youth riders.  Both Claire and Rhett riding 4yr olds for the first time at this show and exceeding all expectations.  Claire riding gelding for the 1st time in his 1st show.  Rhett showing us he had the skills to show a Performance Colt  and then that same day able to bring him down to show in  a Pleasure Class.  Walking away with  ribbons in both classes!  Krystal also doing well with her Fino Stallion.  Sissy also had a very good show.  Bring home the Blues once again.  Ross brought two mares and also did very good.

Asheville Alive 2011 was once again a long hard show.  All our riders and horses did very well dispite the heat, rain and dust.  The high calaber of paso finos there made the wins that much more sweet.  A special thanks goes out to Nelson and Jr. for all that they do for us and also to our youth, Krystal, Morgan, Claire, Rhett and Carlos, thanks for pitching in and helping with the grooming and bathing and tacking and all around running around for us.  We have the best kids on the block!  Through all the highs and lows of this show, we came home with great expecations for Nationals.  Thanks to all the well wishers and friends old and new.  See you all soon in Memphis.

What a Nationals we had.  Bringing home three Grand National Champions and Trainer of the Year!  Nelson and Jr. have set the bar very high for next Year! (smile).  We want to thank all of our firends for their trust and support they give us.  The winning would not mean anything with out someone to share it with.
